As you know, school will start on Monday, August 24. Monday will be a pick up day for Chromebooks, schedules and important papers for this school year. This is for remote and onsite students. We have divided the pickup into four cycles, based on the grade your student is in. Senior pickup will be from 8 - 10 Junior pickup will be from 10 - Noon 10th grade pickup will be from Noon - 2 9th grade pickup will be from 2 - 4 Pick up will be in front of HHS. In order for students to receive their Chromebook, a parent or guardian must come with them as an agreement must be signed by them. If you need technical assistance, once you pick up your Chromebook, you may pull around to the back of HHS and meet with staff. If a parent or guardian cannot attend with you, you may still pick up everything except the Chromebook. Once you bring the agreement back signed, it will be issued to you. Students are to bring these with them each school day. As with all Mondays this school year, no buses will run. As far as meals are concerned, if your student is a remote learner, they may pick up meals for the week between 10 and 10:30 at the high school. The first day of onsite classes will be Tuesday, August 25. The first bell will ring at 8:00 a.m., with the final bell ringing at 3:25. Car riders are to be dropped off and picked up in the front of HHS ONLY. Buses will run, and breakfast and lunch will be served. No lunch deliveries will be accepted this school year. Please note that we are taking every safety precaution that we can. Face masks are required! Sanitizing stations are set up throughout the building. Social distancing will be followed when feasible. The safety of students and staff is the top priority of Hamburg High School. We know this year will be different, but we are looking forward as always for the opportunity to educate your child. If you have any questions, feel free to call HHS after 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24.
